Afef from Tunis to Cal Rosal

Afef's journey begins early in the morning in Tunis. After enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in Kheireddine, La Goulette, she heads to the airport and boards her flight to Barcelona. Upon landing, she takes a bus northward toward the town of Berga.

She finally arrives at Konvent, an artistic residency located in Cal Rosal, Catalonia. That evening, she attends the warm welcome party, meeting and chatting with the other creative participants. Afterward, she heads up to her room for a peaceful night's sleep.

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, Afef goes on a tour of the grounds. She explores the old sewing workshops of the former convent alongside Rainos, who shares the history of the space. Afterward, she heads down to the nearby river to cool off and refresh herself.

Later, Afef makes her way to the communal kitchen to prepare some food. Once ready, she joins the rest of the group so everyone can present their artistic projects. Among the presentations, Ieva shares her photography project, discussing her vision of capturing memories and connections through a collaborative photo exchange.

As night falls, everyone gathers at a local bar in Cal Rosal. The town is alive with the sounds of a music festival. Surrounded by new friends, laughter, and vibrant tunes, Afef enjoys the festive Catalan atmosphere, marking a wonderful start to her residency.
